SSC CGL 2024 recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 17,727 group B and C vacancies in the department.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the dates for Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) tier 1 exam 2024 today, August 8. As per the official notification, the SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2024 from September 9 to September 26 at various exam centres across the country.
Candidates appearing for the SSC CGL 2024 examination can check the notice through the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL 2024 exam will be held in two tiers. The tier 1 will be conducted in September while SSC CGL tier 2 exam will be conducted in the month of December.
The official notice reads, “The Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024(Tier-I) from 09-Sep-2024 to 26-Sep-2024. 2. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates.”
SSC CGL 2024: Total vacancies
The SSC CGL recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 17,727 vacancies in the department. Shortlisted candidates will be assigned to Group 'B' and Group 'C' positions within various ministries, departments, organisations of the Government of India, as well as different constitutional, statutory bodies, and tribunals.
The allocation of these positions will be determined according to the provisions specified in the exam notice, taking into account both merit and the candidates' preferences for particular posts.
SSC CGL 2024 Registration: Correction window opens on August 10
The online registration began on June 24 and deadline was till July 27, 2024. The SSC CGL 2024 application correction window will open from August 10, 2024.
Successfully registered candidates will be able to make changes in the SSC CGL 2024 application form through the correction facility. The SSC CGL application 2024 correction window will remain open till August 11, 2024.
