SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1: Over 28.14 lakh candidates have registered for the exam and been assigned test centres.
93 percent of the candidates have been assigned a centre of their first, second, and third choice in the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) 2025 Tier 1, the commission informed. SSC CGL exam city slip 2025 is available on the official website, ssc.gov.in and the admit card is expected soon.
A total of 28,14,604 candidates have registered for the SSC CGL 2025 exam and have been allotted test centers based on their options submitted during the application process, the commission stated.
SSC also informed that the remaining candidates have been allotted exam centers in nearby places and the average distance between the applied address and the city in which the centres have been assigned to the candidates is about 168 kilometres.
Recently, SSC chairperson S Gopalakrishnan told the media that the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exam will be held in a single shift only instead of multiple sessions and the exam centres will be allocated within a radius of 100 kilometres.
The commission postponed the SSC CGL exam, initially scheduled for August, amid protests by aspirants and complaints of technical issues, delay in Aadhaar verification, and far-off exam centres in the recent exams.
SSC CGL Tier 1 2025 will be conducted at 260 examination centres in 129 cities across the country. The exam is scheduled from September 12 to 26.
