SSC CGL Results: 1,002 candidates fail to qualify, final result remains ‘withheld’ for rest

SSC CGL Result: List of 1,002 candidates whose marks are lower than SSC CGL cut-off marks has been uploaded at ssc.gov.in.
NEW DELHI : Of 1,221 candidates whose SSC CGL result had been kept withheld, marks of 1,002 are lower than the SSC CGL cut-off marks, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) informed. The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) result of the remaining candidates remains ‘withheld’, the commission added.
SSC informed that it has uploaded the list of 1,002 candidates on the website, ssc.gov.in. “In so far as the status of the remaining 1221 candidates is concerned, it is informed that out of these 1221 candidates, the marks of 1002 candidates are below the cut-off marks for various posts under CGLE 2024, i.e. their marks are lower than the marks of the last selected candidate(s). Accordingly, a list of these 1002 candidates has been uploaded on the website of the Commission,” the commission said in an official notice.
Recently, SSC CGL final results of 219 candidates out of 1,267 whose results were held back for various reasons.
SSC declared the CGL final result on March 13 and over 18,000 candidates qualified for recruitment to various posts. “As per Para 12 of final result write-up dated 12.03.3035, result of 1267 candidates (List-III) had been kept withheld due to various reasons. Subsequently, out of these 1267 candidates, the final result of 219 withheld candidates was published on the website of the Commission on 29.03.2025,” the commission added.
SSC CGL Tier 2 exam was conducted on January 18, 19, 20, and 31. The selection process consisted of Tier 1, Tier 2, document verification, and skill tests.
