NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to announce the results for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 tier 1 examination soon. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination will be able to download the SSC CGL tier 1 result 2024 through the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2024 was conducted from September 9 to September 26 at various exam centres across the country.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the SSC CGL 2024 tier 1 result.

The SSC CGL 2024 provisional answer key was released on October 4, 2024. The objection window was opened on October 3 and closed on October 8, 2024. Candidates who clear the tier I exam will be eligible to appear for SSC CGL tier 2 exam 2024. The admit card for the Tier II exam will be released separately on official website.

SSC CGL 2024 Result: Qualifying marks

The minimum qualifying marks for the SSC CGL tier 1 exam are set at 30% for candidates in the unreserved category, 25% for those belonging to OBC and EWS categories, and 20% for all other reserved categories.

SSC CGL Recruitment 2024: Vacancy details

This SSC CGL recruitment 2024 drive aims to fill up a total of 17, 727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ positions across various Ministries, Departments, and Organisations of the Government of India, as well as several Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals.

The SSC CGL tier-I exam featured objective, multiple-choice questions covering four sections: general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension. Each section included 25 questions, with a maximum score of 50 marks. All questions, except for English comprehension, were available in both English and Hindi.
