The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the city intimation slip for the Combined Hindi Translators (CHT) exam 2025 today, August 5. Registered candidates can download the SSC CHT 2025 city intimation slip and view their allotted exam city by logging in through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

As per the official update, candidates who have opted to use their own scribe are required to register and submit the details of their scribe on the Commission’s portal by August 8, 2025. The registration process for scribes can only be completed after viewing the exam city intimation.

The Commission stated that the SSC CHT admit card 2025 and the scribe's entry pass will be made available for download approximately two to three days prior to the examination. These can be accessed through the designated login module on the SSC website.

The SSC will retain the original Admission Certificate at the examination venue. Therefore, they should download and preserve a copy of their admit card for future reference.

“Candidates may note that during the examination, their Admission Certificate will be retained by the Commission. Accordingly, the candidates are advised to obtain and keep a copy of their Admission Certificate for future reference,” the official notice said.

SSC CHT 2025 City Slip 2025: Exam on August 12

SSC CHT 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on August 12. The exam will be conducted to recruit 437 vacancies for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Senior Translator posts.

In a recent update, the SSC stated that the Selection Post Phase 13 exam will not be cancelled, but candidates affected by technical or administrative issues may be given a retest. Chairman S Gopalakrishnan confirmed that the Commission is reviewing centre-wise data and will allow a re-exam for those who did not get a fair chance.
