SSC GD Constable Exam: The commission will conduct a re-exam on March 30 due to venue-specific technical reasons at some centres.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced to conduct re-exam for GD constable posts due to some venue-specific technical reasons at some centres. The SSC GD constable re-exam is scheduled to be held on March 30. The SSC GD constable re-exam will be conducted for over 16,000 candidates.
The candidates will soon be able to download the SSC GD constable admit card for re-exam through the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. The admit card will include the new exam time and exam venue along with other details of the candidates. As per the official notice, candidates from certain centres in the Central (CR), Northern (NR), North Eastern (NE), and Western (WR) Regions will be allowed to participate in the re-exam.
Due to the commission's decision to conduct the re-exam for some candidates, the release of the answer key will be delayed . Initially scheduled for this week, the answer key is now anticipated in the first week of April, following the re-exam on March 30. Once the SSC GD Constable answer key is out candidates will be allowed to raise objections against it.
The commission issued the notice regarding the re-exam on March 20 with details including venue name, region, city, exam date, shift and number of candidates. Today, on March 22, the commission issued another notice to inform about two more exam venues for which the exam will take place on March 30.
SSC conducted the GD Constable written exam for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles from February 20 to March 7, 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 26,146 GD Constable posts.
