SSC exam calendar 2026 out; CGLE, selection post exams in May-July, stenographer in August

SSC 2026 Exam Calendar: The schedule lists notification timelines, application deadlines, and expected exam months for departmental, technical, and recruitment exams to be conducted in 2026 and early 2027.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the tentative exam calendar for the year 2026–27. The calendar covers departmental, graduate-level, technical, and constable-level exams. According to the calendar, the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2026 and the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) 2026 exams will be conducted between May and June.

The commission will advertise the selection post exam phase 14, 2026, in March, with the exam scheduled to be conducted between May and July. The Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026 will be notified in April, and the Tier-I exam is scheduled between July and September.
According to the calendar, the JSA/LDC, SSA/UDC, and ASO grade-limited departmental competitive exams for DoPT will be advertised on March 16, 2026, with the application window closing on April 7. These examinations are scheduled to be held in May 2026.
Most examinations listed in the schedule will be conducted in computer-based mode, with tier-wise or paper-wise phases to be announced separately through individual notifications.

SSC exam calendar 2026
Candidates should refer only to official notifications for eligibility conditions, syllabus, scheme of exam, and post-wise details, as the calendar does not include category-wise vacancies or exam-wise instructions. The SSC 2026 exam calendar is given in the table below.
