SSC GD 2025 application correction window open on November 5; editable fields

The SSC GD 2025 recruitment drive aims to fill 39,481 vacancies, with 35,612 reserved for male candidates and 3,869 for female candidates.

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will open the application correction window for the General Duty (GD) constable recruitment 2025 exam on November 5. As per the official notice the SSC GD 2025 application correction window will be active for three days till November 7.

“A ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ will be made available from 05.11.2024 (1 Hours) to 07.11.2024 (23 Hours). In case, any correction/ change is required to be made in the already filled Online Application Form, the candidates may utilize the ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ facility for the same,” the official notice read.

Candidates who filled out the SSC GD application form 2025 will be able to make changes to it through the official website at ssc.gov.in. Candidates will have to log in using their application number and password to make changes to the SSC GD 2024 application form.

As per the SSC GD 2025 official notification, the candidate will be allowed to correct and resubmit their modified application twice during the “Window for Application Form Correction.” Candidates from all categories must pay a processing fee of Rs 200 for the first application correction and Rs 500 for any additional corrections before resubmitting their forms.

SSC GD 2025 editable fields

Candidates can make changes to specific fields in the SSC GD 2025 application form, including their name, date of birth, father's name, mother's name, category, differently abled status, correspondence address, first choice of exam centre, and the name of the institute.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 39,481 vacancies for various positions, including General Duty constable, Central Armed Police Forces, Special Security Force, Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau. Of the total vacancies, 35,612 are reserved for male candidates, while 3,869 are reserved for female candidates.
