SSC JE Notification 2025 Out: Apply for 1,340 vacancies before July 21; paper 1 from October 27 to 31

Subscribe NowSSC JE 2025 : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 notification today, June 30. Candidates can apply for a total of 1,340 vacancies on the official website, ssc.gov.in, before July 21. SSC JE 2025 paper 1 will be held from October 27 to 31.
The last date for fee payment is July 22, as per the schedule. The SSC JE 2025 application correction window will open from August 1 to 2. The dates for the SSC JE 2025 paper 2 are yet to be announced. SSC JE 2025 paper 2 will be held tentatively in January-February 2025.
The SSC JE 2025 application fee for all category candidates is Rs 100. Additionally, women candidates, and candidates belonging to scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), persons with benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and ex-servicemen are exempted from fee payment.

SSC JE 2025: Exam pattern for paper 1, 2
The SSC JE 2025 exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam pattern for both papers is given below.

For SSC JE 2025 both papers, candidates will be given two hours to complete the exam, and candidates eligible for scribe will be given 40 minutes extra to complete their exam. As per the SSC JE 20205 marking scheme, 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in paper 1 and one (01) mark for each wrong answer in paper 2.
