SSC makes provision to upload supporting documents, bring original certificates at exam centre starting from Selection Post Exam Phase 13 2025.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made it mandatory for the disabled candidates to bring the supporting documents to avail the compensatory time and scribe facility in the recruitment examinations. The commission took the decision after observing that candidates are not uploading the required documents.
From the Selection Post Phase 13 exam 2025 , the commission made a provision to upload the supporting documents during the application form submission. However, many candidates who claimed to be PwBD have not uploaded the said or appropriate documents. The commission has decided not to give compensatory time or scribe facility to such candidates, unless the supporting documentary proof is produced at the examination centre.
The commission noted that in the past examinations conducted by SSC, the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) who were Visually Handicapped (VH), Both Arms Affected (BA), or had Cerebral Palsy (CP) were not required to present supporting documents at the examination centre for availing compensatory time and scribe facility.

However, candidates who claimed limitations in writing were required to submit the documents at the examination venue in support of their claim.
“All those PwBD/ PwD candidates who have claimed compensatory time and have uploaded a certificate shall compulsorily carry the said certificate in original during the examination failing which they will not be given compensatory time and scribe facility,” SSC stated.
