The SSC Selection Post Phase 13 re-exam will be held on August 29 for over 55,000 candidates who were affected by technical and administrative issues during the original exam. The commission identified these candidates after reviewing the exam logs and reports of disruptions, including server failures, system errors, and cancellations at certain centres.
Candidates will have to carry the SSC Phase 13 admit card along with a valid photo identification to the exam centre. The admit card will carry the candidate's name and other personal details along with exam date, exam centre, reporting time, and exam-day guidelines.
The Phase 13 recruitment examination, which was originally held from July 24 to August 1, faced multiple disruptions. Candidates had reported technical issues such as server failures, software glitches, and abrupt cancellations at some centres.
Following these incidents, thousands of candidates took to social media and the streets to voice their concerns. The Commission acknowledged that certain candidates were unable to attempt the exam properly. It ruled out cancellation of the entire recruitment process but decided to hold a re-exam for the affected candidates.
