ETS India, Credila announce ‘TOEFL Super 50’ contest with Rs 10 lakh reward

Study Abroad: Participants registering for the TOEFL iBT test will have access to a test prep eBook and 12 scored mock tests, and an online financial literacy masterclass hosted by Credila.

ETS India, in partnership with Credila Financial Services Limited has announced the ‘TOEFL Super 50’ initiative for study abroad aspirants, and will offer a prize pool of Rs 10 lakh. The initiative combines both language and financial readiness, and participants will have free access to full-length TOEFL-scored practice tests, the official test prep eBook.

According to the official ETS press release, to participate in the contest, the participant must have taken the Global Scholar Challenge rolled out by ETS India.

Additionally, students will have access to an online financial literacy masterclass hosted by Credila, and will be eligible for discounts on the loan processing fee if they opt for an education loan from Credila.

Students who will register and book the TOEFL iBT test by December 15 will have access to the TOEFL official test prep eBook and 12 scored mock tests.

ETS, Credila initiative for participants

“As per a recent ETS survey, 85% of TOEFL test takers have secured visas, highlighting the test’s significant role in the admission process. The TOEFL Super 50 initiative builds on this by offering additional support to Indian aspirants,” the official ETS statement said.

The country manager at ETS India and South Asia, Sachin Jain, said: “Indian students are shaping classrooms across the world and today represent one of the largest groups of international students. At ETS, we see our role as helping students put their best foot forward, not just through globally accepted assessments like the TOEFL test, but also through initiatives like financial literacy that build confidence and readiness.”

The TOEFL test can be taken at test centres or at home. TOEFL scores are accepted by universities across the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, and other countries. To become eligible for ‘TOEFL Super 50’, students can register for the TOEFL test before the last date, with the test to be taken by December 31.
