Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has introduced merit-based scholarships providing tuition fee discounts up to 50% for Indian students willing to take admission in January 2026 postgraduate courses in the United Kingdom. NTU scholarship awards include the India Prestigious University Award, offering up to £4,000, NTU International Merit Scholarships of £3,000, and the NTU International Scholarship of £2,000.
Aspirants can apply for the scholarship by November 12 on the official website, ntu.ac.uk. Last year, NTU awarded over 1,300 scholarships to applicants from more than 80 countries.
All NTU’s undergraduate courses include at least 240 hours of integrated work-like experience. Such opportunities ensure students gain practical experience alongside academic studies and improve their career prospects.
“With merit-based scholarships, globally-recognised programmes, and extensive employability support, courses at NTU offer Indian students a unique opportunity to combine academic excellence with career readiness,” the NTU statement said.

NTU's focus on employability is one of its key strengths, with the university ranked first in the UK for Employability (Uni Compare, 2025). NTU partners with more than 2,000 companies across the UK and internationally and offers students professional placements and paid internships.
Additionally, NTU’s employability promise guarantees paid placements for graduates who are not employed or in further study within 12 months of completing their degree.
“We are excited to offer these scholarships to Indian students as part of our commitment to making world-class education more accessible. NTU’s focus on employability, combined with financial support, ensures our students gain academic excellence and career-ready skills, setting them up for success after graduation,” the senior regional manager Anna Audhali at NTU said.
