Candidates till rank 7,70,000 to appear on August 11 with original certificates and guardian.

Telangana NEET UG assessment for Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates will be conducted on August 11 and August 12, 2025. A total of 79 candidates have applied for PWD reservation for admission to the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes in state institutes.
The document verification will be conducted at the Learning Centre, Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. Students with National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG ) rank 2025 1 to 7,70,000 have been directed to appear on August 1. Students with NEET UG rank 7,70,001 to the last rank should appear on August 12.
All candidates availing the reservation should report to the venue at 9 am, along with their guardians and all relevant original certificates. Document verification of the specially-abled aspirants will be conducted by the medical board of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences.

PWD candidates who require further evaluation for conditions related to Hematology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, and ENT will be required to attend on subsequent days.
Recently, the Supreme Court reserved its verdict on the Telangana four-year domicile rule for medical and dental admissions. The state government rule stated that the state quota reservation will be for students who have studied in Telangana for the last four years. The Telangana High Court ruled that the state’s permanent residents should not be denied the benefits of reservation because of residing in another state for four years.
The Supreme Court had stayed an HC order last year, directing that permanent residents, or candidates who had Telangana domicile, could not be denied admission to medical colleges. The state government agreed to grant an exception to 135 students in 2024.
