Download NowThe Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has extended the admission deadline for all affiliated junior colleges and composite degree colleges offering two-year Intermediate courses in General and Vocational streams. The board has also allowed additional time for the correction of enrolment data for the academic year 2025-26.

As per the official notice, all colleges, including government, government-aided, and private institutions, were reopened on June 2, 2025. After more than 90 days from the start of the academic year, TGBIE has received requests from principals, students, and parents for additional time to complete Telangana board Class 11, 12 admissions and make corrections in enrollment data.
As a final opportunity, the board has enabled the admission enrollment option for two days, September 11 and 12, 2025. Private junior colleges will be required to pay a penalty of Rs 500 per admission, while government and government-aided colleges will not incur any penalty.

The board has also allowed a two-day window to edit the admission details on the college portal during the same period. Private colleges will incur a Rs 200 penalty per correction, whereas government and government-aided colleges will not face any charges.
TGBIE has directed all principals to verify their online admission data to ensure there are no pending enrollments or corrections. The board has also warned that any discrepancies found after this period will be taken seriously, with potential actions including disaffiliation and imposition of penalties.
The board further informed parents and students to take admissions only in affiliated junior colleges. “Parents and Students are hereby informed that, take admissions into the Affiliated Junior Colleges only. The List is provided in the official Websites of the TGBIE, i.e., acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in,” the official notice said.
