Tamil Nadu 12th public exams 2026 will be held till March 26. DGE will hold Class 12 practicals from February 9 to 14.

Download NowThe Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has announced the TN 12th public exam time table 2026 today for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSE) second year students. Accordingly, Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exams 2026 will be held from March 2 to 26.

Around 8,07,000 students from 7,513 schools will appear for the plus two exams at 3,317 examination centres. The practical exams for HSE +2 students will take place from February 9 to 14.
DGE has also released TN 11th time table 2026 for arrear candidates who did not pass the exams from March 2018 to June 2026. As per the schedule, HSE +1 exams will be conducted from March 3 to 27. The practicals of these students will be held from February 16 to 21. As part of the Tamil Nadu State Education Policy (SEP) 2025, Class 11th public exams have been cancelled starting from the 2025-26 academic session.
In a first, Tamil Nadu has allowed the use of calculators in Class 12 accountancy exams, starting from this session.

The exam timings of Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exams 2026 will be 10 am to 1:15 pm. Students will get 10 minutes for reading the question paper.
