TN Class 12 answer scripts 2025 out on dge.tn.gov.in; retotalling, revaluation applications begin tomorrow

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has issued the scanned copies of the Tamil Nadu higher secondary second-year public exam answer scripts for the March 2025 exam. Students who appeared for the exam can download the Tamil Nadu Class 12 answer script 2025 through the official website, dge.tn.gov.in.

The DGE has also uploaded the application form for Tamil Nadu HSE 2025 marks retotalling or revaluation. Students who are not satisfied with their marks and want to apply for retotalling or revaluation of their marks can submit their applications through the official website. The application form submission window will be open from June 5 to June 7.
“Applications for retotalling or revaluation will be accepted at the respective district government examination service centres from June 5, 2025 (Thursday), 11 am to June 7, 2025 (Saturday), 5 pm. The prescribed fees must be paid in cash at these centres at the time of submission,” the English translation of the official notice said.
Applications will also be processed through the district-level government examination service centres. Students from government and aided schools, private candidates, and those from Adi Dravidar and tribal welfare schools are required to apply at the respective district centres. The required fee should be paid in cash at the time of submission.
TN Class 12 Answer Script 2025: Re-totalling fee
Students can apply for TN Class 12 marks re-totalling if they find discrepancies in their Tamil Nadu Class 12 answer scripts. Only specific issues will be considered for re-totalling. These include errors in the total marks, answers that have been evaluated but not awarded marks, marks that are awarded but not entered on the front page, unvalued answers, and any difference between the marks in the answer script and the provisional mark sheet.
As per the guidelines, during re-totalling, the awarded marks will be rechecked both question-wise and page-wise. Any unvalued answers found will be assessed, and marks will be given accordingly. However, requests for awarding more marks for an already evaluated answer will not be accepted.
The application fee for language subjects that include both theory and practical components is Rs 505. For subjects with only theory, the application fee is Rs 305. For all other subjects with both theory and practical, the fee is Rs 205.

Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2025: Revaluation process
As per the official notice, during Tamil Nadu Class 12 result revaluation, all answers will be re-evaluated by a team of three senior subject teachers. If there is any change in the marks, whether an increase or a decrease, the revised marks will be final and applied accordingly.
In case of any change in the total marks after revaluation, the updated marks will be considered final. A new mark certificate will then be issued to the candidate, and the earlier one will be cancelled.
