The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, has announced the seat allotment result for the third round of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2025 for admissions to BTech programmes. Candidates can download the TNEA round 3 seat allotment result 2025 through the official website, tneaonline.org.

Students are required to use their login details, such as email id and password, to download the TNEA round 3 allotment order. Seats have been allotted colleges based on their rank, preferences filled during choice-filling, and availability of seats.
Seat allotted candidates in the TNEA round 3 counselling 2025 will have to confirm their allotment by tomorrow, August 11, before 5 pm.
“Tentative allotment has been released for all applicable third round candidate, request you to login and confirm the allotment on or before 11-08-2025, 5PM, if you fail to confirm your allotment it will be stand as cancelled,” says the official website.
As per the TNEA 2025 schedule, The provisional allotment for the candidates who choose "accept and join" and the tentative allotment for those who select "accept and upward" option will be published on August 12. Students will have to join and report to the TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFC) between August 12 and 17. The TNEA 2025 round 3 provisional allotment for upward option candidates will be out on August 20.

TNEA counselling 2025 was conducted in three rounds for admissions of state candidates to engineering programmes in colleges and universities. Candidates were allotted seats based on their Class 12 marks.
