TNPSC group 1 prelims results 2025 declared; mains exam from December 1 to 4

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has declared the TNPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam 2025 results today, August 28. Candidates can access their Group 1 prelims results on the official website, tnpsc.gov.in

As per the official notice, the TNPSC group 1 mains exam will be held from December 12 to 4 at the Chennai centre only. TNPSC conducted the group 1 exam on June 14.

Furthermore, candidates who have been admitted provisionally to the TNPSC group 1 main written examination have to pay Rs 200 as exam fee and upload all the scanned copies of documents in support of claims made in the application from September 3 to 12.

“The admission of candidates to the Main Written Examination is provisional subject to verification and acceptance of the claims as made in their online application with regard to Age, Educational Qualification, Communal category, Differently Abled category, and PSTM etc., through documents,” TNPSC notice reads.

TNPSC Group 1 Result 2025: How to download?

The steps to download the TNPSC Group 1 results 2025 are as follows.

• Visit the official website, tnpsc.gov.in.
• Click on the "Combined Civil Services Examination 2025 List of Candidates Admitted To Main Written Examination" link available on the homepage.
• Download the PDF entailing preliminary examination results.
• Save the result for future reference.

Candidates are advised to keep an eye on both the Commission’s website ‘X’ account, Telegram channel, and WhatsApp channel periodically for all updates and notifications. Additionally, candidates who have been selected for the mains exam should upload all the scanned documents without fail, or else, it will lead to non-admission to the next stage of the selection process.
