Enrol NowThe Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu will declare the Class 12 (HSC) results 2026 today, May 8. Students who appeared in the higher secondary examinations held between March 2 and March 26 can check their results on official DGE websites once declared at 9:30 am. To access their scores, candidates need to enter their hall ticket number along with their date of birth. As per the media reports, more than 8 lakh students appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 12 board examinations this year.

Students can check their TN Class 12 (HSC) results on the following official websites:

To pass the TN 12th HSC exams 2026, students are required to score at least 35% marks (35 out of 100) in every subject.

Candidates can follow the below steps to check their TN 12th results 2026 online;
- Visit the official result websites such as tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in; you may also use alternate portals like dge1.tn.nic.in or dge2.tn.nic.in if needed.
- On the homepage, click on the link for “HSC (+2) Result 2026.”
- Enter your registration number and date of birth in the required format.
- Submit the details to access your result on the screen.
- Download and keep a copy of the provisional marksheet for future reference, especially for admissions.
TN 12th Result 2026: Steps to check via DigiLocker
Students who took TN 12th exam 2026 can follow the steps below to check their HSC results;
- Open the DigiLocker app or website on your device.
- Log in using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number or username and password.
- New users must register first and verify details through OTP.
- Navigate to the “Education” or “Search Documents” section.
- Select “Tamil Nadu State Board (DGE Tamil Nadu)” from the list.
- Click on “Class XII Marksheet.”
- Enter your registration number and date of birth.
- Tap on “Get Document” to view your marksheet.
- Save it in your DigiLocker account for future use.
TN Class 12 scorecards available online are provisional in nature, and students need to obtain the original certificates from their respective schools.
