Join Careers360 PremiumNEW DELHI: The Department of school education, Hyderabad has started the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET 2024) application process today. The TS TET exam date 2024 has also been announced and it is slated to be held from May 20 to June 3.
Candidates interested in appearing for the eligibility test will have to submit their application form on the official website, tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/ or from schooledu.telangana.gov.in before April 10. The eligibility exam is held for candidates who desire to become teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in the state government schools, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad schools, private aided schools and private unaided schools in Telangana.
All candidates who possess DElEd, DEd, BEd, language pandit or equivalent qualifications and those pursuing final year will be eligible to apply for the test. Those who have already appeared in the TET exam and wish to improve their scores will also be allowed to take the exam.
The TS TET 2024 exam will be held from May 20 to June 3 in 11 districts of the state. The exam will be held in two sessions - session 1 from 9 am to 11.30 am and session 2 from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
The registration fee for appearing in one paper is Rs 1,000 and those wishing to appear in both paper 1 and 2 will have to deposit Rs 2,000. The TS TET paper 1 is held for eligibility to teach classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 determines the eligibility of candidates to teach Classes 6 to 8.
