NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) will close the registration window for first-year intermediate admissions for the academic year 2024-25 tomorrow, October 20. Students can take admissions in affiliated colleges through the official websites of the TGBIE, acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in.
Parents and students are encouraged to confirm the affiliation of their selected junior colleges prior to completing the admissions process. The board informed that the list of affiliated colleges can be found on the official TSBIE websites.
Earlier, the TSBIE inter 1st year registration deadline was October 15. The new deadline got extended for students to complete their admissions. However, the reason for this extension has not been revealed.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced that admissions into government and government-affiliated junior colleges can be completed without any late fees. However, students seeking admission to private junior colleges will need to pay a late fee of Rs 500.
"The last date for admissions into 1st year Intermediate for the academic year 2024-25 is extended up to 20 -10-2024 with a late fee of Rs 500/- in all Private Junior Colleges and without a late fee in all Government and Government Sector Colleges, as a last chance and there is no further extension”, the official notice read.
TSBIE has also instructed all junior college principals, including those from government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and residential institutions, to ensure a smooth continuation of the admission process for first-year Intermediate students until the extended deadline.
