UEM Jaipur holds 10th convocation ceremony; confers degrees to 267 students

UEM Jaipur: A total of 15 students were awarded gold medals, 14 with silver medals, 12 bronze medals, and 4 PhD degrees, 202 UG degrees, and 61 with PG degrees.
NEW DELHI : The University of Engineering and Management (UEM) Jaipur recently hosted its 10th convocation ceremony. As per UEM's statement, a total of 267 students were awarded degrees in various fields. The ceremony was held at the UEM Jaipur campus on February 22, 10 am.
According to the UEM statement, students from undergraduate, postgraduate, and Phd programmes in engineering, management, physiotherapy, and computer applications were awarded degrees and medals. A total of 15 students were awarded gold medals, 14 with silver medals, 12 bronze medals, and 4 PhD degrees, 202 UG degrees, and 61 with PG degrees.
“In this convocation, 267 students from Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programmes in engineering, management, physiotherapy, and computer applications graduated (15 gold medals, 14 silver medals, 12 bronze medals, 4 PhD degrees, 202 undergraduate degrees, and 61 postgraduate degrees),” the UEM statement said.

UEM Jaipur convocation ceremony
During the convocation ceremony, some renowned personalists of India were conferred the Honoris Causa (honorary degree) of PhD and doctor of engineering (D Engg) including – Sudha Murty (Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri), member of Rajya Sabha, chairperson of Murty Trust, founder-chairperson of Infosys Foundation; KJ Singh PVSM, AVSM, and (Bar Veteran), former Western army commander, former Haryana state information commissioner, and advisor to CM Haryana; Kuldip Singh major general, VSM; Sujit Kumar Sarkar former director general of Police & former chief information commissioner, West Bengal; Raja Maji the director growth at Lera Technologies USA; Vineet Mittal the founder and chairman of Avaada Group; and KP Ghatak the Emeritus professor at IEM Kolkata, West Bengal.
