The UGC NET June 2025 exam is held to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges.
The NTA has issued the UGC NET admit card for June 25 exams only. The hall tickets for the remaining exam dates will be issued soon on the official portal. As per the exam timings, there will be two shifts - shift 1 from 9 am to 12 noon and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) for 85 subject papers. The test paper will consist of two sections, both the section will consist of objective type, multiple-choice
questions. Candidates will have to attempt the questions in three hours, and there will be no break between the papers.
