UGC NET June 2025 result declared on ugcnet.nta.ac.in; 1.28 lakh qualify for PhD admissions

UGC NET June Result 2025: A total of 7,52,007 appeared for the eligibility test. Of those who appeared, 4,46,849 were female, 3,05,122 were male, and 36 identified as third gender.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025 result today, July 21. As per official data, 1,28,179 candidates have qualified for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) admission through this cycle of the exam. Eligible candidates can download the UGC NET June result 2025 through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
A total of 10,19,751 candidates registered for the exam, of whom 7,52,007 appeared. Among the candidates who appeared, 4,46,849 were women, 3,05,122 were men, and 36 identified as third gender. Candidates should enter their application number and date of birth to download the UGC NET scorecard 2025.
According to the result data shared by NTA, 5,269 candidates have qualified for both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for the post of assistant professor. A total of 54,885 candidates have qualified for assistant professor and PhD admission.
The testing agency has also issued the UGC NET final answer key along with the result. The UGC NET June 2025 was conducted from June 25 to June 29 in computer-based test mode across 285 cities.
“The eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified as per norms specified in the information bulletin of UGC NET June 2025. NTA does not take any responsibility towards correctness/genuineness of the uploaded information/documents during the registration process by the candidates,” the official notice said.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the UGC NET scorecard 2025.
- Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the link that says “UGC NET June 2025 Scorecard”.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Submit the details to log in.
- Your scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
