University of Birmingham Dubai: The MSc financial data science programme is open for September 2025 intake, and no registration fee is required.
University of Birmingham (UoB) Dubai has started accepting online applications for the MSc in financial data science programme. The MSc financial data science programme registration is open for September 2025, and no application fee is required.
The UoB MSc in financial data science programme will be delivered in person and aims to equip students with skills to analyse and interpret complex financial data using advanced mathematical and computational techniques.
To apply for the MSc programmme, candidates should have IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band and a 2:1 honours degree in maths and/or statistics or a programme with advanced mathematical and/or statistical components.

According to the official UoB Dubai statement, the programme is designed for over 12 months for full-time students or 24 months for part-time students, comprising 120 credits of taught modules and a 60-credit research project.
The UoB programme's tuition fee is AED 168,608 per year for full-time and AED 84,304 per year part-time students.
“The dissertation offers an opportunity to work one-on-one with a leading expert in the field, applying knowledge to an independent research project that culminates in a well-structured dissertation demonstrating advanced research, analytical, and communication skills,” the official University of Birmingham Dubai statement said.
UoB Dubai's MSc in financial data science programme combines finance, mathematics, statistics, and data science to provide practical experience in harnessing data to make informed decisions.
