UP MBBS, PG medical fees to be revised in 6 weeks; DGME NEET UG round 3 from October 6

Download EBookMBBS and PG medical fees for Uttar Pradesh private medical colleges are set to be revised after the Allahabad High Court directed the state-run committee to take fresh decisions within six weeks. Meanwhile, the Director General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) has announced the round 3 schedule for the UP NEET UG counselling 2025.
After the UP NEET UG admission process began, some private medical colleges in the state approached the Allahabad HC challenging the fee structure for MBBS courses. The Lucknow bench of the high court, which heard a batch of pleas filed by aided and unaided private medical colleges, said that the fees fixed will remain provisional .
In the latest court order dated on September 25, the bench directed the DGME UP and fee regulation committee to revise the fees for MBBS and PG medical courses within six weeks. The officials have also been instructed to inform candidates about its decision.
The private medical colleges that filed the petition against MBBS fees include Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Prasad Institute of Medical Sciences, Krishna Mohan Medical College, Muzaffarnagar Medical College, NCR Institute of Medical Sciences, Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute, among others.
There were a total of 3,864 seats available for the round 2 counselling. The UP NEET UG round 3 seat matrix will be published soon on the official website, upneet.gov.in.

Meanwhile, the UP NEET UG round 3 registration will begin from October 6 and remain open till October 9. Students who have submitted the security deposit in the first two rounds do not have to pay the fees again.
Only those candidates who register before the deadline will be able to fill choices of courses and colleges.
