UP NEET PG Counselling 2023: Mop-up schedule revised; registrations begin at 5 pm today

Use NowNEW DELHI: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Uttar Pradesh has revised the schedule for the mop-up round of UP NEET PG counselling 2023 due to the decision of the health ministry to reduce the NEET PG cut-off to zero for all categories.
As per the new schedule, the mop-up round registration for the state National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2023 will begin at 5 pm today. Candidates can register through the official website, upneet.gov.in by September 29 up to 11 am.
Candidates who have registered themselves for the mop-up round under NEET PG 2023 as per the previously released timetable, do not need to register again. “ Only those candidates will be eligible for mop-up round, who have not been allotted any seat through the first and second round of counselling of UP NEET PG 2023” the official notice read.

The candidates who have been allotted a seat in the first or second round of UP NEET PG 2023 and candidates admitted through counselling of any round of All India quota are not eligible for the mop-up round.
To participate in the UP NEET PG counselling mop-round round all the eligible candidates will have to deposit a registration fee of Rs 2,000. A security money of Rs 30,000 for admissions in government colleges will have to be paid by the candidates while Rs 2,00,000 for private medical college seats and Rs 1,000 for private dental colleges will have to be paid.
Those unallocated candidates from the first and second rounds of UP NEET PG 2023, who have already deposited the security fee, will not be required to deposit the security deposit again for the mop-round.
