UPCATET 2024 fee payment window closes today at upcatet.org; participating colleges

UPCATET 2024 will be held for admission into 5 agricultural universities of UP on June 11 and 12.
NEW DELHI: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology (SVPUAT) Meerut will close the fee payment window of the UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) 2024 today. Students aspiring for admission into SVPUAT’s undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes can apply on the official website, upcatet.org. UPCATET 2024 will be held on June 11 and 12.
The UPCATET admit card will be issued on May 27 and the result will be announced on June 22. The UPCATET counselling will begin on June 27. SVPUAT offers BSc (Hons) Agriculture, , BVSc & AH, BSc (Hons) Horticulture, BTech in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering, and Sugarcane Science and Technology. It will hold admission through master’s programmes in eight disciplines of agriculture, one of biotechnology, 16 of veterinary, three of horticulture and one of agriculture.
UPCATET will also be used for admission into PhD programmes in seven disciplines of agriculture, one of biotechnology, 16 of veterinary, one of agriculture engineering and three disciplines of horticulture.

Students applying for the UPCATET will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,350. However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST and female candidates will have to submit Rs 1,100 as application fee.
Along with SVPUAT, UPCATET will also be used for admission into Banda University Of Agriculture and Technology, Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Chandra Shekhar Azad University and Mahatma Buddha University of Agriculture and Technology. Students will also be able to apply for university-financed scholarships, ICAR, UGC, Samaj Kalyan scholarship, individual Fellowships and Mandi Samiti scholarships.
