UPPSC AE recruitment 2024 begins for 604 combined engineering services posts, apply on uppsc.up.nic.in

NEW DELHI : The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has started applications for the Combined State Engineering Services (General, Special Recruitment) exam 2024. Candidates can now apply online through the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in. The last date for online application is January 17, 2025.
The UPPSC recruitment drive aims to fill 604 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Engineer. The deadline for fee reconciliation and correction or modification in the online application is January 24, 2025.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their total scores from both the UPPSC Main exam and the interview round. However, before this, candidates will be required to appear for prelims exams, which will be held at various locations by the UPPSC to select candidates for the main exam of Combined State Engineering Services.
According to the official notice, the candidates must do a one-time registration (OTR) before applying online. Candidates will only be able to submit their online application once their OTR is generated.
“It is mandatory for the candidates to make One Time Registration (OTR) and obtain OTR Number before applying online. Those Candidates who have not obtained OTR number, may obtain it from commission's website otr.pariksha.nic.in 72 hours before the submission of online application,” the official UPPSC notice reads.
