NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has issued the UPPSC PCS prelims 2024 paper 1, 2 answer key. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment exam can download the UPPSC PCS prelims 2024 answer key PDF by visiting the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates will be able to raise objections against the UPPSC PCS 2024 answer key till December 31.
As per the official notification, the UPPSC PCS answer key 2024 for prelims exam will remain available on the official website till December 30. Candidates can use the UPPSC PCS 2024 prelims answer key to calculate their probable scores in the exam.
"The Combined State/Senior Subordinate Service (P) Examination-2024 questions papers and answers of General Studies Paper I and II are available on the official website. The questions and answers will be available on the website till December 30, 2024. The correct answer from the options given below the question papers has been highlighted and underlined (in the rectangular box)", the official notice read.
A total of 5,76,154 candidates had applied for the examination, out of which only 2,41,212 candidates (about 42 per cent) appeared in the exam.
According to the UPPSC PCS prelims 2024 marking scheme, there will be negative marking. For every wrong answer, 0.33 mark will be deducted. If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be the same penalty for that question.
In order to qualify the exam, candidates belonging to the general category will be required to obtain a minimum of 40% marks. The minimum passing marks for the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) is 35%.
The UPPSC PCS 2024 preliminary exam was held on December 22. The exam was conducted in two shifts: the first from 9:30am to 11:30am, and the second from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, across 75 districts of the state.
