UPSC 2026: HHRCI Mumbai starts registration for free residential coaching; 100 seats available

Download EBookUPSC 2026 : The Haj House Residential Coaching Institute (HHRCI), Haj Committee of India under the ministry of minority affairs, has started accepting applications for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2026 aspirants for free residential coaching with hostel facility. A total of 100 candidates will be selected, of which 80% seats are reserved for Muslim minorities and 20% for others, including scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST), and other backward classes (OBC) candidates.

Candidates willing to apply have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. Candidates will be required to submit their passport-size photograph, application signature, essential qualification certificates, caste certificate, and income certificate for application.
Additionally, candidates who get selected for coaching will have to pay a deposit of Rs 15,000, which has to be paid at the time of admission. Candidates admitted will not be allowed to leave before the UPSC 2026 prelims exam, or else their deposit will be forfeited. A refund will be made after the preliminary exam is held.

UPSC 2026: Residential coaching selection
The entrance test will include a written test based on the syllabus prescribed by UPSC . There will be two paper tests with a two-hour duration each. Paper 1 consists of general studies, having 100 questions on different subjects and CSAT for 200 marks. Each question carries a negative marking of 0.66 for wrong answer. Paper 2 will have CSAT with 80 questions for 200 marks, each carrying 2.5 marks, and a negative marking of 0.83 will be followed for wrong answer.
Candidates should note that paper 2 will be a qualifying paper with a minimum mark of 30%, and the merit list will be prepared based on the basis of paper 1. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an essay writing and personal interview round.
