NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the marks of recommended candidates in Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) 1 exam 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the recruitment examination can check the UPSC CDS 1 marks 2024 through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the UPSC CDS 1 marks 2024.
The list includes written test marks, SSB marks, and the final total, along with the candidates' names and date of birth. The UPSC CDS marks of recommended candidates will be available on the commission’s website for 30 days.
UPSC CDS final result 2024
The UPSC CDS 1 final result was announced on January 8, 2025. A total of 590 candidates have made it to the UPSC CDS 1 final merit list 2024. Of these, 470 are male candidates and 120 are females who will be joining the 121st Short Service Commission Course (Men) and 35th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course which will be commencing in April, 2025.
However, the results of Medical Examination of candidates have not been taken into account in preparing the merit list. As per the commission, the candidature of all the candidates is provisional. Verification of date of birth and educational qualification of recommended candidates will be done by Army Head Quarter.
UPSC CDS 2024 selection process
The written exam tests candidates in English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics (for IMA, INA, AFA), with a duration of 2 hours per paper. Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the SSB interview, which includes a screening test, psychological assessments, group tasks, and a personal interview. After the SSB interview, candidates undergo a medical examination to ensure fitness for military service.
Final selection is based on a combined score of the written exam and SSB, leading to training at the respective academies (IMA, INA, AFA, OTA).
The UPSC CDS 1 recruitment 2024 drive aims to fill up a total of 457 vacancies in various courses. The registration process was started on December 20, 2023 and concluded on January 9, 2024. The UPSC CDS selection process involves a written exam, SSB interview, medical examination, and final merit list.
