UPSC IFS Main admit card release date 2024 and exam day guidelines have been uploaded on the official website, upsc.gov.in. List of items to be carried to the exam venue.

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be issuing e-admit cards for the Indian Forest Service Main (IFS Main 2024) examination on November 14. Candidates who have qualified for the exam, scheduled to be held on November 24, will be able to check and download the UPSC IFS Mains admit card 2024 from the official website, upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC admit card 2024 for IFS Main exam will also be available through the direct link - upsconline.nic.in. Candidates will have to enter their login credentials to download the UPSC e-admit card.
Along with the UPSC IFS admit card release date 2024, it has also notified the exam day guidelines. “No paper Admit card will be issued for this Examination. “Important Instructions to the candidates” appended with the eAdmit Card must be read carefully by the candidates,” the commission said.
It is mandatory for candidates to produce the printout of their UPSC e-admit card along with the photo ID card at the venue of the allotted centre to be allowed entry. Those candidates who fail to produce the required document will be denied entry into the examination hall.
Candidates have been instructed to ensure that all the details such as name, photograph and the QR code on their UPSC IFS hall ticket are correct. “In case of any discrepancy in the e-Admit Card, the same may be communicated to the Commission immediately by email (at email ID soexam9-upsc@gov.in ) for taking the decision in the matter,” it said.

The UPSC IFS Main exam 2024 will be held in two sessions. Forenoon session will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and afternoon session will be between 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The entry of the candidates in the venue will be closed 30 minutes before the exam starts. Here are the exam day guidelines to be followed by the eligible candidates.
“If you have changed your name by following the legal process, please carry (in each session of the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2024) a Government issued photo Identity card and/or original Gazette notification of the changed name. Further, you would also be required to submit an undertaking at the time of the examination,” it added.
