Notably, along with Aniruddha, other WBJEE toppers 2025, Samyajyoti Biswas and Aritro Ray, had also qualified Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced.

Aniruddha secured AIR 348 in JEE Advanced and has already embarked on his next academic chapter at IIT Kharagpur . His father is a professor at Calcutta University, his mother is a physics teacher at South Point School, and his brother is a fourth-year student at IIT Kanpur, carrying forward the family’s legacy of academic excellence.
“Since this is such a competitive and prestigious exam, topping and achieving rank 1 is an achievement in itself. This has given me a huge confidence boost and taught me that hard work pays off,” Aniruddha told The Telegraph Online Edugraph.
Samyajyoti Biswas secured second rank in WBJEE 2025 with an impressive score of 193 marks, and in JEE Advanced, he scored 291 marks out of 360, with an AIR rank of 63. Currently, he is pursuing Computer Science at IIT Bombay.
Biswas’s primary target was JEE Advanced , however, a week before WBJEE, he focused on preparing from previous year questions and studying basic concepts. Biswas was a student of Kalyani Central Model School, Kalyani, West Bengal.
Another student, Aritro Ray, also secured AIR 4 in WBJEE 2025 and AIR 50 in JEE Advanced. He was a student of Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, and Aniruddha completed his schooling from Don Bosco School, Park Circus, Kolkata, West Bengal.

WBJEE Counselling 2025: BTech, BPharm admissions
WBJEEB has also announced the WBJEE 2025 counselling schedule for admissions to engineering, technology, pharmacy, and architecture courses. As per the WBJEE counselling 2025 schedule, the seat matrix will be uploaded on the website on August 27. WBJEE counselling 2025 registration and choice filling process will commence on August 28 on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
WBJEE 2025 results were declared on August 22, bringing an end to weeks of uncertainty after a delay due to legal directives regarding the OBC reservation in the merit list. Along with the results, the board also published the WBJEE final answer key 2025 and one question was withdrawn.
