The fifth position was jointly held by Rehan Rijvi Shaikh and Soumdip Mishra, both scoring 98.38%. The sixth rank included 13 students, all male, with 97.89% marks. The seventh rank was shared by six students who scored 97.84%, while Gholam Faisal secured the eighth rank with 97.50%.

Soham Bhowmick obtained the third rank in the WB HS 3rd semester exam 2025 with 98.92% marks. The fourth rank was shared by 10 students, including one female candidate, who scored 98.42% each, as per the WBCHSE merit list.

To qualify in the WB HS 3rd semester exams, students will have to secure at least 30 marks out of 100 in each compulsory subject. The scorecard includes the student’s name, roll number, marks obtained in theory and practical papers, total marks, grade, and qualifying status.

The WB HS 4th semester exams will be conducted from February 12 to 27, 2026. Schools have been instructed to download the statement of marks and synopsis of marks from the WBCHSE portal and distribute original mark sheets and certificates to students at the earliest.

Ten students, including Atanu Banerjee, Srijan Parichha, Soumalya Rudra, Tridev Chakraborty, Tapobrata Das, Arkadyuti Dhar, Arighna Sarker, Aitihya Pachhal, Adrito Pal, and Pratyush Mondal, secured the second position with scores above 98.90%. WBCHSE stated that detailed marks statements will be available to schools through the official login portal.

Among districts, South 24 Parganas recorded the highest pass percentage at 96.72%, followed by Nadia with 96.64% and Howrah at 96.59%. Kolkata registered a pass rate of 93.77%. According to the WBCHSE, the WB HS 3rd semester result 2025 indicates uniform performance across districts. Several schools in South 24 Parganas and Nadia reported full pass results. The council stated that evaluation procedures and completion of practical examinations as per schedule supported consistent outcomes across regions.

Students can access the West Bengal Higher Secondary (HS) result 2025 link on the official website of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) at wbchse.wb.gov.in. The result link will also be available on other authorised portals notified by the council for online result checking.
