GATE cut-offs are of two types— qualifying cut-off and admission cut-off . The qualifying cut-off is the minimum score needed to pass the exam, while the admission cut-off is the closing score required to get a seat in an MTech programme , which varies by institute.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the GATE qualifying cut-off , as it is responsible for conducting the exam this year. The GATE admission cut-off is released by individual institutes and counselling authorities like CCMT for NITs and other participating institutes.
IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exams on February 1, 2, 10, 11, and 16. The GATE 2025 answer key is expected to be released soon on the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. GATE 2025 result is scheduled to be released on March 19.
