PGDM scholarship applications are open for the 2026 batch on the official ABBS website.

ABBS School of Management, Bangalore, has announced PGDM scholarships for students coming from farming families. Students who are selected will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver on the institute’s flagship two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme.
The ABBS ‘Annadata Scholarship Scheme’ for PGDM acknowledges the farmers’ role in feeding the nation and aims to uplift the students from farming families by providing them opportunities for “world-class management education” and “global career opportunities”.
Students who wish to get ABBS PGDM admission via the Annadata scholarship should apply on the institute’s official website at www.abbssm.edu.in. Applications are open for the academic year 2026-27.

The eligibility conditions for the scholarship require the candidates’ parents to be engaged in agriculture or allied activities, with verified proof through government-issued farmer IDs, Kisan credit cards, and land records. Students will be selected on the basis of merit in entrance exams and their families’ financial background, along with proof of their parents’ farming profession.
With the Annadata Scholarship Scheme, ABBS Bangalore has become the first autonomous B-school in India which offers a scholarship programme exclusively for farmers’ children, as per an official statement.
Speaking about the initiative, Madhumita Chatterji, director, ABBS School of Management, remarked, “Farmers feed the nation, and it is our privilege to support their children in becoming future leaders. The Annadata Scholarship Scheme is not just financial aid, it’s a commitment to bridging the rural-urban education divide and creating pathways from the fields to the boardroom.”
