The university will close the AILET 2026 registration window for admission to various law programmes on November 10, 2025.

The National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) has started the registrations for the All India Law Entrance Test 2026 (AILET) for admissions to UG, PG and PhD programmes today. Eligible candidates can apply for the AILET 2026 through the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

The AILET 2026 law entrance exam will be conducted on December 14, 2025 in a single shift from 2 to 4 pm. Candidates seeking admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB, and LLM courses at NLU Delhi, can register for the AILET 2026 through the official portal.
The university will close the AILET 2026 registration window for admission to various law programmes on November 10, 2025. According to the official notification, the AILET 2026 admit card is expected to release on December 1, 2025.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates looking forward to take admission to BA LLB honors must have a class 12 passing certificate with at least 45% marks in total. Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) must have 40% in Class 12 to be eligible for the AILET 2026.
In case of Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, the eligibility for appearing in the entrance test include 45% marks in class 12. Moreover, candidates applying for BA LLB programmes under the Foreign Nationals category, will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the AILET 2026.

Firstly, eligible candidates need to register for the AILET 2026 to get their login credentials. After registrations, applicants must log in to the candidate’s portal of AILET with the generated login details.
After login, fill the required details such as personal data, contact information, family and academic details. Then submit the asked documents as per the below given specifications.

The AILET 2026 application form fee for general, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Foreign Nationals is Rs 3,000.
Law aspirants falling under the SC, ST, and PwD category should have to pay Rs 1,000 as AILET 2026 application fee. While, SC, ST and women candidates are exempted from registration charges.
