The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, has begun the registration process for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) October 2025 today, October 24. Eligible candidates can register for the AP TET 2025 through the official website at tet2dsc.apcfss.in.
The last date to register for the AP TET October 2025 is November 23. The AP TET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on December 10, 2025, in two sessions— 9:30 am to 12 noon and 2:30 pm to 5 pm. The exam is conducted for candidates aspiring to become teachers in government, aided, and private schools for Classes 1 to 8.
APTET October 2025 will include four papers — Paper 1A, Paper 1B, Paper 2A, and Paper 2B. Candidates seeking eligibility for Classes 1 to 5 will have to appear for Paper 1A, and those for Classes 6 to 8 for Paper 2A. Separate papers (1B and 2B) are scheduled for candidates applying to teach in special schools.
To register for the exam, candidates from all categories are required to pay Rs 1,000 for each paper. The last date to pay the application fee is November 23 through the official website at cse.ap.gov.in.
According to the official schedule, the AP TET 2025 hall tickets will be available for download from December 3. The provisional AP TET 2025 answer key will be issued on January 2, 2026, and objections can be submitted till January 9. The final key will be published on January 13, and the final results on January 19, 2026.

To qualify the AP TET October 2025, candidates from the Open Category (OC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will have to secure at least 60 percent marks. Those from Backward Classes (BC) should score a minimum of 50 percent.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and ex-servicemen should obtain at least 40 percent marks.
The AP TET certificate will be valid for a lifetime, and 20 per cent of the AP TET score will be considered as weightage in future Teacher Recruitment Tests (TRT) conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
