Assam NEET UG 2025: Round 2 counselling registrations from September 8; GMC gets 250 more seats

Assam NEET UG 2025: As per the official notification, 250 seats at Guwahati Medical College and Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh each, 50 at Pragjyotishpur Medical College, and 150 at Silchar Medical College have been added for the round 2 counselling.
The Director of Medical Education, Assam has announced the schedule for Assam NEET UG 2025 counselling for round 2 for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes for the academic session 2025-26. The online registrations for Assam NEET UG 2025 round 2 counselling will begin from September 8.
Candidates with valid NEET UG 2025 scores will be able to register for the Assam NEET UG 2025 for MBBS through the official website at dme.assam.gov.in till September 9.
The choice filling window to select medical programmes and colleges through the Assam NEET UG 2025 round 2 counselling will be active from September 10 to 11 up to 10 pm. Eligible candidates will be able to lock their choices from 5 pm to 12 am on September 11. The authority will declare the Assam NEET UG 2025 round 2 seat allotment list on September 9.
Those who will be allotted seats and MBBS, BDS and dental courses at various medical colleges across the state, will be required to report or join their allotted institute from September 24 to 25.
Assam NEET UG 2025: Additional seats for round 2
Under the state quota, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced the addition of seats for Assam NEET UG 2025 in some of the medical colleges across the state.
As per the official notification, 250 seats at Guwahati Medical College, 50 at Pragjyotishpur Medical College, 250 at Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, and 150 at Silchar Medical College have been added for the round 2 counselling.
In addition, candidates who have already registered for the Assam NEET UG 2025 counselling need not register again and are eligible to take part in the online choice filling for round 2.
