In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in aggregate in the TET examination, candidate senior in age will be given preference in the merit list.

Click on the "Results of TET cum Recruitment (TCR) 2024" link and login with your application number and password generated during the registrations. TET scorecard will be displayed.

Directorate of Secondary Education has declared the Assam TET result 2024 on the official website, madhyamik.assam.gov.in. 

The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has provided helpline numbers for technical support. The toll free number is 08042303631 which will be available from 10 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Saturday.  

Assam TET candidates were asked to upload the following documents which will be verified at the time of recruitment:

• HSLC marksheet and admit card (age proof)
• HSSLC marksheet and certificate
• Marksheet and certificate of degree (in case of candidates for the posts of Graduate Teacher arts and science, will have to submit all three year marksheet and Pravin / Ratna final examination mark-sheet and certificate in case of Hindi posts and Shastri examination in case of Sanskrit posts.
• Post graduate mark sheet and certificate in case of less than 50% marks in graduation.
• Any other mark-sheet and certificate of higher education.
• BEd / Parangat marksheet (1st Year and 2nd Year) and certificate.
• Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
• EWS certificate, if applicable
• Disability certificate, if applicable
• Certificate of ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board

The document verification of TET qualified candidates will be carried out during the teacher engagement process. The verification will be conducted from October 29. 

The TET qualifying certificate will be valid for appointment for lifetime from the date of issue of certificate by the empowered committee. 

No, there will not be any negative marking in the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), as per the marking scheme. 

A candidate is required to score 60% marks, that is, 90 marks out of 150 to qualify the Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET). SC, ST, OBC, PwD candidates will get a relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks. 

The salary of an Assam Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) ranges between Rs 22,000 and Rs 97,000 while the pay scale for Graduate Teacher (GT) lies between Rs 60,000 and Rs 70,000. 

Assam TET cum Recruitment (TCR) 2024 exam was conducted for the recruitment of 1,487 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts and 8,230 Graduate Teacher  (GT) in various government and provincialised secondary schools across the state.

• TET scorecard will be displayed on the screen
