BCI to close AIBE 20 registrations in two days; admit cards on November 15

The Bar Council of India (BCI) will close the AIBE 20 registrations for law graduates and those in the final year of LLB programmes on October 28, 2025. Candidates can apply for the AIBE 20 examination through the official website at allindiabarexamination.com.

The council will conduct the AIBE 20 examination on November 30, 2025 across the country in an offline mode. The admit card for AIBE 20 will be issued on November 15.

Candidates need to submit requisite documents at the time of registrations for the AIBE 20, including a passport-size photograph, signature image, enrollment certificate (self-attested), photo ID proof (self-attested), category certificate (if applicable), LLB degree or final year marksheets.

The BCI conducts the AIBE examination for law graduates and final semester students of 3-year or 5-year LLB courses. The bar examination is mandatory for candidates aiming to practice law in India.

After qualifying the BCI AIBE, candidates are given a Certificate of Practice (CoP) which is a permit to practice law.
