Bihar STET 2025 application window opens tomorrow; apply by September 27 at bsebstet.org

Bihar STET Registration 2025: The exam is scheduled to be held from October 4 to October 25.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will open the application form for Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 tomorrow, September 19. Eligible candidates can fill out the Bihar STET 2025 application form through the official website at bsebstet.org.
The last date to register for the Bihar STET 2025 is September 27. Earlier, the application form was scheduled to be open on September 11, and as per the initial schedule, the deadline to fill out the form was September 19. However, the board later postponed the application window.
“In continuation of BSEB Notification No. PR 218/2025, all candidates appearing for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 and all concerned are informed that the online application form for the postponed examination, as per Notification No. PR 221/2025 can be filled from September 19, 2025, to September 27, 2025,” the official notice said.
The Bihar STET 2025 will be conducted from October 4 to 25, 2025. The board will announce the result on November 1, 2025. The Bihar STET 2025 will have two papers. Paper 1 for secondary level and Paper 2 for the senior secondary level.
Bihar STET 2025: Application fee
To register for the Bihar STET 2025, candidates from the General, OBC, or EWS categories must pay an application fee of Rs 960 for either Paper 1 or Paper 2, and Rs 1,140 if applying for both papers. Candidates from the SC and ST categories are required to pay Rs 760 for either paper and Rs 1,140 for both.
Candidates applying for Bihar STET 2025 will have to upload a scanned colour photograph and signature while submitting the application. The photograph should be between 80 KB and 200 KB in size, with dimensions of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, and the signature should be between 50 KB and 200 KB.

Bihar STET Registration 2025: Documents required
Candidates will have to upload self-attested copies of the following certificates during the Bihar STET 2025 registration process.
- Matriculation (10th) certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth).
- Intermediate (12th) certificate and mark sheet.
- Undergraduate (Graduation) certificate and mark sheet.
- Postgraduate certificate and mark sheet (if applicable).
- BEd certificate and mark sheet.
- Other educational qualifications (if any).
- Residential certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates issued by a competent authority.
- Updated caste/creamy layer-free certificate for EBC/BC candidates.
- Ex-servicemen certificate for claiming age relaxation, issued by a competent authority.
