NEW DELHI : The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will commence the registration for scrutiny of Class 10 answer sheets, Bihar Board Matric compartment exams 2025 and BSEB 10th special exams 2025 today, April 4. The last date to apply for scrutiny and exams is April 12.
Students who are not satisfied with their marks in one or more subjects can apply for the scrutiny of Bihar Board Matric results 2025 on the official website, matricbsebscrutiny.com by paying Rs 120 per subject.
For appearing in BSEB 10th compartment exams 2025 and Bihar Board Matric special exams 2025, students can ask their school heads to apply on the official website, secondary.biharboardonline.com and biharboardonline.com. Candidates belonging to the general category will be required to pay Rs 1,010 while SC, ST, and EBC students will have to make payment of Rs 895.
BSEB 10th Scrutiny 2025: How to apply?
The board issued the following steps that can be used to apply for scrutiny of answer sheets:
- Go to matric.bsebscrutiny.com
- Click on the "Apply for scrutiny (Annual Secondary Examination 2025)" link
- Enter roll code, roll number, and date of birth and create a password to register. This password should be securely saved for future use by the student.
- After logging in, the application form for scrutiny will be displayed, showing the student's details along with the subjects.
- To apply for scrutiny in specific subjects, mark the checkbox next to the subject(s) you wish to apply for scrutiny.
- Click the "Make Payment" button on the fee payment page. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking for the prescribed scrutiny fee. After making the online payment, the student should verify within 24 hours whether the amount has been debited from their bank account. If the amount has been debited but not deposited in the committee's account, the application will be considered incomplete and will not be accepted.
The scrutiny will be based on the following criteria as per the provisions mentioned in the committee's regulations:
- If the marks on the pages inside the answer script are not recorded on the front page, they will be corrected.
- If there is an error in the total of the given marks, it will be corrected.
- If any question or part of a question is unmarked, it will be evaluated, and the score will be corrected accordingly.
- As a result of scrutiny, the marks may increase, decrease, or remain the same.
The board further informed that if a candidate has failed in a maximum of two subjects in the Bihar Board Class 10 exams 2025 and applies for scrutiny while also appearing in the BSEB 10th compartment exams 2025 and if, as a result of the scrutiny, the candidate's marks are increased, leading to passing the compartmental exam, then the candidate's result in the annual exam will be considered valid, not the result of the compartment exam.
