BSEB chairman Anand Kishore announced several security measures to prevent malpractices during the exams:
Exam and entry timings: Students should enter the exam centre at least 1 hour before the scheduled time. Entry gates will close 30 minutes before the exam begins. For the first shift, entry will be allowed from 8:30 am to 9 am, and for the second shift, from 1 pm to 1:30 pm.
Trespassing: Any student found jumping the boundary wall or entering forcefully will be charged with criminal trespass. Such students will be expelled for 2 years, and an FIR will be filed. An FIR will also be lodged against the centre superintendent and any staff allowing trespassing.
Prohibited items: Students are not allowed to wear electronic, smart, or magnetic watches inside the examination hall.
Invigilators: One invigilator will be appointed for every 25 students. They are responsible for submitting daily reports and ensuring no objectionable items are found with students.
Frisking: Magistrates and police personnel will be deployed at exam centres for frisking and verification at entry points.
CCTV monitoring: All centres have been instructed to have CCTV cameras installed and arrange for videographers.
Lost admit cards: Students who lose their Bihar Board admit card 2025 may be granted provisional permission to appear for the exam after cross-verification with the scanned photo on the attendance and roll sheets.
Inspection register: Centre superintendents have been directed to maintain an inspection register for officers visiting the centres.
Mobile phones: Except for the centre superintendent, no other official, student, or invigilator is allowed to carry a mobile phone into the examination hall.
Section 144: Section 144 has been imposed across the state on exam days. The entry of any unauthorized person near exam centres will be strictly prohibited.
