Aspirants can apply for CAT 2025 on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, by 5 pm today. CAT 2025 will be held in around 170 cities across the country, and candidates are advised to fill in five cities of their preference. Once the exam centre is allotted to the candidate, no change will be permitted.
The CAT syllabus 2025 includes three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). Candidates will be given 120 minutes to complete the IIM MBA entrance test.
This year, the CAT 2025 registration fee has been increased to Rs 1,300 from Rs 1,250 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons With Disabilities (PwD) candidates, and Rs 2,600 from Rs 2,500 for all other candidates.

CAT 2025 eligibility requirements
Candidates willing to apply for CAT 2025 should have completed a bachelor’s degree with atleast 50% or equivalent marks. The institutes offer 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates.
As per the CAT reservation criteria, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC, and up to 10% for EWS candidates, and an additional 5% is reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).
CAT 2025 is a gateway for aspirants to apply for admission to flagship MBA programmes and other postgraduate and doctoral programmes offered at IIMs. CAT scores 2025 are accepted by 21 IIMs and more than 1,000 business schools across the country. In addition to CAT scores, candidates’ academic performance over the years and work experience will also be assessed for IIM admission.
