Pooja Nayyar, HOD Maths, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Vasundhara, Ghaziabad said, "Class 12 Maths CBSE paper was moderate but lengthy. Only 2-3 questions on integral calculus seemed to be a bit tricky, but most of the paper was from PYQs and NCERT. MCQs were not lengthy and were based on concepts. The blueprint from the sample paper did not apply much to the exam since the distribution of marks was way different. Overall the questions were of moderate level."
There were no out-of-syllabus topics in CBSE Class 12 maths question paper 2025. The CBSE Class 12 maths paper 2025 was conducted from 10:30 to 1:30 pm. As per the CBSE Class 12 maths question paper 2025, some of the high weightage topics were - calculus, vectors, three dimensional geometry, algebra, probability, relations and functions.
As per the CBSE Class 12 passing criteria for 2025, students will be required obtain a minimum of 33% overall to pass the board exams. Additionally, they students are required to score at least 33% individually in both practical and theory exams to qualify in the CBSE Class 12 exams 2025.

The CBSE 12th exams 2025 are being held across 7,842 centres. A total of 17,88,165 students are expected to appear for CBSE Class 12 board exams. The CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025 will end on April 4.
The CBSE Class 12 board exams 2026 will be conducted once a year, adhering to the current format. Around 20 lakh students are expected to appear for the CBSE Class 12 exams 2025, which will follow the existing syllabus and textbooks. The board has scheduled the CBSE Class 12 exams 2026 from February 17 to April 4.
