Download EBookNEW DELHI : The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has revised the Class 11, 12 syllabus for some subjects. The revised CISCE syllabus 2026 is available on the official website, cisce.org.
CISCE ISC Class 12 syllabus has been revised for biology, chemistry, history, legal studies, political science, psychology, mathematics, accounts, commerce, and sociology. For ISC Class 11, the board has changed the syllabus for mathematics, chemistry, biology subjects.
Besides ISC 12th syllabus, CISCE has also made available the ‘primer’ on robotics and artificial intelligence. Last year, the board introduced the two subjects in Class 12 and announced that the same will be introduced for the ICSE Class 10 students in the 2026-27 session. It also talked about a 25% increase in the competency-based questions in the ISC and ICSE board exams starting from the 2025-26 academic session.

“It is mandatory for the Heads of Schools to ensure that all candidates registered for the Examination download from CISCE’s website www.cisce.org a copy of the Regulations and Syllabuses for the year of the Examination in which they are appearing, for their reference,” says the document on regulations and syllabuses for ISC Class 12 exams 2026.
CISCE conducted this year’s ISC Class 12 board exams 2025 from February 13 to April 5 in two shifts. CISCE ISC results 2025 are expected in the month of May.
