Yes, candidates preparing to appear for the CLAT 2026 can access the previous years question papers through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Each years question paper will cost Rs 500.

The Consortium of National Law Universities will conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2026) on December 7 from 2 pm to 4 in an offline mode. 

CLAT registration 2026 will begin on August 1. Candidates are advised to fill in all personal and educational details carefully, as details such as programme, category, and BPL field cannot be updated after payment of the application fee.

The application charges for general and Other Backward Classes (OBC) aspirants are Rs 4,000. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Below Poverty Line (BPL), and Person with Disabilities (PwD) categories have to pay Rs 3,500 for the registration.

CLAT form 2026 will be out on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Students looking for admission to 5-year Integrated LLB and LLM programmes can apply for CLAT UG and CLAT PG respectively.

CLAT UG and PG 2026 applications will begin on August 1, 2025. The last date for application submission is October 31. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2026) will be tentatively held on December 7, 2025.

Through CLAT 2026, the National Law Universities are offering over 3,000 undergraduate or LLB seats and more than 1,200 postgraduate or LLM seats. A total of 26 NLUs are participating in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026. 

As per the CLAT 2026 eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks for the general category and 40% marks for SC, ST, PwD are eligible to apply and appear. 

As per CLAT 2026 exam pattern for undergraduate, the question paper will contain 120 multiple-choice questions of one mark each. The duration of CLAT exam 2026 will be two hours and the maximum marks will be 120.

CLAT UG 2026 question paper will comprise questions divided into the following subjects: 

• English Language
• Current Affairs, including General Knowledge
• Legal Reasoning
• Logical Reasoning
• Quantitative Techniques

Candidates can get access to the CLAT previous year question paper online on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in by paying Rs 500.

As per the CLAT marking scheme 2026, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect response.

As per CLAT PG 2026 eligibility criteria, candidates should have passed LLB or an equivalent exam with at least 50% marks in case of general, OBC, NRI candidates and 45% marks for SC, ST, PwD applicants. 

The CLAT application fee is Rs 4,000 for general and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories and Rs 3,500 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and BPL (Below Poverty Line) applicants.
